In 2019, the six tennis courts and three football pitches at WTC Beukersweide and Juventa ’12 were illuminated with beautiful Philips LED sports field lighting.
WTC Beukersweide
TC Beikersweide is also known as WTC: Wierdense Tennis Club. Tennis can be played year-round on six beautiful all-weather courts. The complex has been located on 2e Lageveldsweg in Wierden for several years. Previously, these courts were located in the center of Wierden next to De Kolk swimming pool. In 2019, beautiful LED sports field lighting was installed above the tennis courts.
Juventa ’12
Juventa ’12 is a Dutch amateur football club from Wierden in the Overijssel province, founded in 2012. The club was formed through a merger between the football clubs SV Omhoog and WVV Wierden. The club’s first team won the Fourth Division Sunday league championship in the 2012/13 season and therefore plays in the Third Division Sunday league.
