WSC (Waalwijkse Sport Club) was founded on January 6, 1906, and is located at Sportpark Eikendonk. WSC is opposite RKC Waalwijk’s Mandemakers Stadium.
Accommodation
On January 6, 1906, the football club “Waalwijk Vooruit” was founded. The club colors were: black and yellow striped shirts with black shorts and black socks. The playing field, a meadow, was located on Burg. van der Klokkenlaan behind the Van Vugt café. The café served as changing rooms.
On September 19, 1948, Mayor R. Lambooij opens the new sports park on Zuider-Parallelweg, now Olympiaweg. KNVB chairman Karel Lotsy presents a new association flag.
In mid-1980, WSC moved from the sports park on Olympiaweg to its current location on Akkerlaan. Freddy van den Anker was the first player to score a goal at the new sports park.
WSC has had two new artificial turf fields since 2016, which means WSC now has two artificial turf fields, two grass fields and a training field.
Since 2020, all fields have been illuminated with LED lighting.
