Besides football, the Klarenbeek Multifunctional Centre is used by many clubs and foundations. The Klarenbeek Multifunctional Centre houses football, indoor football, lawn bowls, badminton, judo, and the Klarenbeek Music Association.
History of SC Klarenbeek
SC Klarenbeek was formed on July 1, 1991, through a merger between the sports clubs SV Klarenbeek (founded in 1959) and SV Pacelli (founded in 1932).
On January 11, 2007, SC Klarenbeek celebrated its 75th anniversary. This anniversary year was celebrated with various activities, including a photo exhibition. An anniversary book was also published, featuring many facts from the past and present of the sports club.
History of SV Pacelli
Pacelli was founded on January 11, 1932 (the fact that it was called “KVC” until after the war is less well known to most). In the early years, the club played on Henkenburgweg. Initially, the club consisted of one senior team and two junior teams.
History of SV Klarenbeek
SV Klarenbeek was founded on May 13, 1959. For a while, the club was called “TOGIDO,” but this was short-lived. The KNVB (Royal Dutch Football Association) rejected this name because a club already had the same name.
