The Pampus Dog Club has been a well-known name in the Netherlands for over 30 years, especially in the Flevopolder and ‘t Gooi regions. It’s the largest dog club in Almere and the surrounding area.
At KC Pampus you can take training and obedience courses at various levels and also participate in the dog sports Agility, Breitensport, Doggydance, Flyball, Funny ‘O, Hoopers and Treibball.
At KC Pampus, all types of dogs are welcome: pedigree dogs, crossbreeds, and mixed-breed dogs of all sizes and origins.
KC Pampus uses dog-friendly methods, primarily utilizing positive reinforcement. Good behavior is elicited and rewarded with something the dog values, such as food or a game. Positive reinforcement of desired behavior fosters a stronger bond between owner and dog. The dog is motivated to work with its owner and enjoys it. Undesirable behavior is prevented as much as possible and ignored, or corrected vocally.
All KC Pampus instructors undergo internal training and also earn a nationally recognized instructor certificate from a recognized organization, such as O&O, Dogvision, or Martin Gaus. All courses at KC Pampus are taught exclusively by certified instructors. You may encounter trainee instructors during internships with certified instructors in the group. The association also has its own certified behavioral specialist. You can contact this specialist if your dog has developed problem behaviors, such as anxiety or aggression.
